This property is a great option for staying in Mérida. The location is excellent, and the house is beautiful. We had a few technical issues during our stay, and Ricardo was extremely responsive in resolving them. The only possible drawback is the noise on weekends (weekdays were very quiet). There is a nearby bar, and the music can be heard quite a bit. Even so, this place is wonderful, and we 100% recommend it.

The Airbnb is exactly as shown in the photos—a very pleasant and spacious place, with good air conditioning. It has everything you need, and you are just a block and a half from many tourist attractions.
Just keep in mind that there is a bar around the corner on Fridays and Saturdays, in case you are a light sleeper.

Casa Trova was a wonderful place to stay while enjoying Mérida. The décor is beautiful, the beds were comfortable, and the location was great.
The host was very responsive to any questions or issues that came up. They also generously allowed us to leave our car parked after check-out so we could explore a little longer, and overall, I would highly recommend this stay for anyone visiting Mérida.
Just one note: the two bedrooms are fairly separated from each other (you have to walk through the kitchen, then out to the patio, and then into the other bedroom). This is ideal for travelers who want extra space, but it is worth keeping in mind if you have small children and prefer to stay closer together.
